I was born and raised in the most beautiful city in Africa, Cape Town.  During my military service I had to spend many months on patrol in Namibia, only to appreciate the infinity of the land and the deep blue of the sky and the ever changing landscape.

I have a real passion for travel and sharing my experiences with whomever will listen and whomever  will  join me on an unforgettable safari experience. There is nothing more exhilarating than laying in your rooftop tent at night and hearing lions roar at each other. It is truly an exhilarating experience.

Having done many self drive safaris throughout southern Africa over the years, I know what people would want to expect and would like to experience on a safari adventure. The beauty of doing a self drive with a guide allows you the opportunity of going to remote areas and being able to travel through local villages and see firsthand how the local people live. You get to enjoy the wild life experience by camping and sitting around the fire at night enjoying a beverage and BBQ, under the African skies where the animals roam freely around the camp.

I also enjoy cycling, hiking and biking and playing squash with my kids and follow motor racing avidly.
